Congratulations, Victor and Shanna, our newest MA in Sustainable Design alumni (as of Friday night). We are terrifically proud of you and your incredible work to push the sustainability envelope. Now, go forth and change the world!

Deann Garcia’s thesis was titled, Sustainable Production and Design of Cycling Lifestyle Apparel for Women. (Advisor: Holly Robbins)

Victor Palacios’s thesis work was titled, Sustainable Manufactured Housing. (Advisor: Denise DeLuca)

Gabe Pyle’s thesis was titled, Development of Planet: Crisis, a Sustainability-Focused Educational Game. (Advisor: Curt McNamara)

Shanna Ruyle’s thesis was titled, Connecting Design to Global Sustainable Goals through Local Communities: Method for creating global, sustainable impact with design through work with a local entity. (Advisor: Cindy Gilbert)

Alyssa Yatabe’s thesis was titled, The Story from Plate to Seed: Supporting food literacy through information graphics and storytelling in foodservice environments as methods for increasing consumers’ awareness of sustainable food habits. (Advisor: Arlene Birt)
