Participants included stakeholders from a variety of sectors. There was lot of energy in the room, very organic and grassroots in nature. The morning started out with a game of “Do You Know Your Stuff?” Attendees had the opportunity to answer questions concerning the impact of various items on display.

Topics covered during the workshop included an overview of what sustainability is and isn’t, taking responsibility, empowering individuals to take positive action, thinking in systems, understanding life cycles and getting the dirt on greenwashing.  Attendees participated in several learning activities and engaged in lively discussions throughout the workshop presentation.

This class was very savvy and several already knew a lot about sustainability yet, being open-minded and a life-long learner, Dawn reported that she learned a lot from them as well.  And, as might be expected, she received a lot of positive feedback about the class and is looking forward to doing more.  Thank you, Dawn, for sharing your wisdom and passion!
