Kate Jo

BA (Hons) Fine Art Photography, Glasgow School of Art / 2003

Kate loves learning about how things work and deconstructing her assumptions to cultivate resilience. She’s a photographer and sound artist who has exhibited in Australia, China, Germany, Spain, and throughout the UK, as well as in New York and Montana. Her work has been featured in Next Level Magazine, Royal Photographic Society: Contemporary Photography, The Scottish Society for the History of Photography, and A-N Magazine.

She teaches photography, digital post-production, and professional practice, and was the co-artistic director and photographer for Ultimate Navigation Manual by Lyle Brotherton, published in 2011 by HarperCollins. She’s endlessly curious, patient, and strives to maintain a beginner’s mind in a world of changing possibilities.
