Mirna Garza

Mirna Garza, originally from Mexico, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, MX. She currently works as a mechanical product designer for a medical device company. Previously, she worked for nearly 4 years as a industrial designer at the Schneider Electric Design Center in MX and volunteered for almost 5 years in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Monterrey. Graduating from MCAD’s MA in Sustainable Design program in 2013 now helps her to propose sustainable product solutions for design challenges that the medical device industry faces. Mirna is based in Iowa.
