Shari Welsh

Shari is an experienced design, branding, and marketing communications professional who enjoys leading teams and exploring creative avenues for educating others on sustainability through integrated communications and the effective use of visual design. Shari has extensive experience in corporate, non-profit, and agency settings and owns her own business, Circular Design Solutions. Shari is passionate about helping businesses and organizations explore, understand and implement strategies to move toward a circular economy model.

She holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) where she was awarded the Van Derlip Scholarship Award for demonstrated leadership, creative problem solving, and skillful practice of applied sustainability frameworks to real-world challenges.

She was a guest lecturer at Colorado State University on the topic of Applying the Circular Economy to the Outdoor Products Industry, served on a panel that presented to the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), and showcased portions of her master’s thesis as a presenter at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation Disruptive Innovation Festival.
