Emily graduated from Rutgers University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior and a minor in Sustainability. Born on the Jersey Shore, she grew up loving animals and exploring nature with her dad and visiting family in Brazil most winters with her mom. Having a worldly perspective at a young age gave her insight into how connected our global communities are and how important it is to respect and care for our planet.
Her interests include waste management and biopreservation, specifically in combating the impacts of climate change. Emily currently works as a project assistant at an environmental consulting firm. She enjoys teaching others about sustainability and leads by example from her home in Hamilton Township, New Jersey where she lives with her fiance, 2 dogs and 3 cats.
